A Met Office yellow warning for ice is now in place in West Sussex, after some parts of the county saw snow over the weekend.

It went up at midnight on Monday (25 January) and is in place until 11am.

The Met Office warns of icy conditions on some untreated roads, pavements and cycle path, as well as the risk of injury from slipping on icy surfaces.

Rail travel could also be disrupted.

Some areas in the north of the county, including communities around Horsham and Crawley, saw flurries on Sunday.

After a frosty start with icy patches it will be a dry but cold day with long sunny periods. Winds will be mainly light inland but breezy near the coast. Maximum temperature 5 °C.
