Christopher Brock, 67, now of Coolham Road, Thakeham near Pulborough, was given the sentence, including an year on extra prison licence, at Brighton Crown Court on March 31st, after being convicted of sexually assaulting his victims who were between the ages of 8 and 15.

He will also be a registered sex offender for life and was also given a Sexual Harm Prevention Order, to last until further court order, severely restricting his access to children.

Detective Constable Della Squires of the Sussex Police Safeguarding Investigations Unit said:

"Brock knew his vicitms and assaulted them over several years for his own sexual gratification.

"They bravely supported our investigation and gave evidence against Brock in court which helped bring him to justice.

"We will always investigate such reports and ensure that those who make them receive specialist support."
