Man arrested after assault on woman in Worthing
Police found wanted suspect Stephen Maurice Best
Wanted man Stephen Best has been arrested.
Sussex Police say that on Thursday 1 April, officers arrested Stephen Best, who had been wanted since March 23rd in connection with an attack on a woman in Worthing.
Details of the arrest have only just been revealed.
The 32 year old was held on suspicion of two counts of causing actual bodily harm and one count of criminal damage.
He has since been released on police bail until 27 April.
At the start of the search, Officers had said that Stephen Best was known to frequent the Worthing, Lancing and Pulborough areas of West Sussex as well at the Coddenham area of Suffolk.
