There's always A LOT of excitement when Disney announce a new film, and their recent announcement is no different. Taking to Twitter last night (12th December), the film studio revealed that their next original feature would be called Onward, and have a whole host of very famous names.

Lending their voices to characters in the new film are Chris Pratt, Tom Holland, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, and The Shape of Water actress, Octavia Spencer. And this news has excited fans hugely with a massive 35K likes and nearly 10K retweets in less than a day.

Whilst fans are super excited at the announcement, many have been joking that Spider-Man actor Tom Holland won't be able stop himself revealing spoilers, saying, 'March 6, 2020? That's a long time to keep Tom from spoiling', with another joking, 'He's doing every scene blindfolded'.

Although not a huge amount is known about the film, Disney's website reveals the plot follows two teenage elf brothers whose dad died when they were young. However, as there is still a little magic still left in the world, the boys go on a quest to spend one last magical day with their dad. It sounds very emotional!

Now take a look at the biggest films from last year according to Empire:

20. The Lost City Of Z

2013's The Immigrant is sadly still waiting for a UK release, so praise be to the cinematic gods that James Gray's The Lost City Of Z arrived without delay. Based on the true-life tale of British explorer Percy Fawcett (Charlie Hunnam), this dense but always gripping biopic is part political drama, part family drama and part adventure.
On discovering the remnants of an indigenous society, Fawcett spent his life trying to prove his Amazonian finds until his unexplained disappearance in 1925. Containing one of the most beautiful scenes of the year, this undseen gem deserves, nay, demands your attention.
