We're gearing up to the release of Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald later this month, and today's red carpet premiere is getting us in the magical mood. The film, which will be released in cinemas on Friday 16th November in the UK, is the sequel to the 2016 film starring Eddie Redmayne as Newt Scamander.
Both films are in the same universe as the Harry Potter film series, and fans all over the world were thrilled to hear that Albus Dumbledore would be back, as the new films are set around 60 years before the original Potter movies.

The role is now being played by Jude Law, having previously been played by Richard Harris for the first two Potter films and Michael Gambon for the latter six, with Eddie Redmayne, Katherine Waterston and Johnny Depp returning as Newt Scamander, Tina Goldstein and Gellert Grindelwald respectively.
The first Fantastic Beasts film saw Newt and the team meet Grindelwald, who was briefly mentioned in the original Potter series, and was taken into custody for trying to cause a war between Muggles and the Wizarding World.

However, the trailer for the sequel shows that Grindelwald has escaped capture, and also introduces the character of Nagini - who is best known to Potter fans as Lord Voldemort's pet snake and one of his Horcruxes.

The end of the first film also showed that Muggle - or No-Maj, as they're known in the US - Jacob Kowalski had to have his memory wiped as non-wizards cannot know about the magical world - but fans of the baker will be pleased to know he's back in the new film.
To get us too excited for words, there's a live stream of the red carpet premiere for Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald in Paris. It will go live at 6.15pm, so keep your eyes peeled!
