The countdown is officially on to the Worldwide Christmas Eve Jingle, which will see 400,000 people across the globe jingle their bells to let Santa know Christmas isn't cancelled.

The campaign started with Harrogate-based mum, Mary Beggs-Reid, who thought they should let Santa know people are still expecting him.

Her idea that people should ring a bell on their doorstep on Christmas eve has since gone global, with people far and wide set to participate in The Christmas Eve Jingle 2020.
