Police have released a CCTV image of a man they want to trace

Bottles of alcohol have been stolen from a fish and chip shop in Poole during a burglary.

The Lakeside takeaway at Lifeboat Quay was broken into at around 2.15am on Sunday (12th May).

Police have released a CCTV picture of a man they'd like to identify.

PC Niki Edwards, of Poole police, said:

“We are carrying out various enquiries into this burglary and I am issuing a CCTV image of the suspect.

“I appreciate the image is not the clearest, but I would urge anyone with information relating to this man’s identity to please contact us.

“I would also like to hear from anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in the vicinity during the early hours of Sunday 12 May 2024, as well as any members of the public who may have captured relevant home CCTV, doorbell camera or dashcam footage.”
