'He just brings it': Pirates of the Caribbean cast praise Johnny Depp

Fifth installment, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, hits screens soon

Johnny Depp is at his best in the new Pirates of the Caribbean film, according to his castmates.

Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, the fifth film in the franchise,held it's premiere in Disneyland Paris over the weekend. Johnny walked the carpet, along with his fellow castmates Orlando Bloom, Javier Bardem and Kaya Scodelario.

The new film follows Captain Jack Sparrow as he's pursued by an old nemesis, Armando Salazar, played by Bardem. Along the way he joins forces with old characters like Captain Barbossa, Elizabeth Swan and Will Turner.

The film has been hailed as a return to form for the franchise, and on the red carpet producer Jerry Bruckheimer says he hopes Johnny Depp 'wants to keep making the Pirates films'.

The cast had nothing but nice words to say about Johnny's return to the franchise.

Javier Bardem, who faces off with him in the film, said 'when you see him become Jack Sparrow, it's a show! It's like WOW!'

Kaya Scoledario, who's Captain Jack's new sidekick in the film, admitted it took 'a lot longer' to get used to working with Johnny than she realised, as she kept getting distracted by how funny he was.
