An online fundraising event's taking place in Birmingham on Friday (19 February) to help raise money for a permanent memorial in the city, honouring everyone affected by HIV and AIDS.

Last week, we told you about community groups, businesses and people in the city coming together to make it happen.

Hundreds of pounds has already been raised on fundraising pages.

On Friday night, 25 Birmingham-based performers will be taking part in the fundraising event hosted by the Nightingale Club.

The online event, which will be streamed online, starts at 7pm and will coincide with the final episode of 'It's A Sin'.

The money raised will go towards the memorial in the Southside District.

The show will last an hour and a half and will be "fully packed with drag performances".
