A boat has gone up in flames in Wells Harbour.

It happened on Friday evening, with RNLI Wells inshore lifeboat, paged by HM Coastguard at 6.54pm.

They joined firefighters who were already on the scene. Police and the Coastguard also attended.

One it was determined that there was no one onboard, it was decided Norfolk Fire and Rescue would tackle the flames, rather than let the vessel burn out on its own and they were assisted by the lifeboat in this.
