A man has been detained under the Mental Health Act
An incident in Wells that saw armed police flock to a residential street has been resolved safely, police say.
Officers say they were called to Northfield Waye at 11 o'clock yesterday morning following concerns for a man in his 50s.
But at around 5am this morning, officers were able to enter the property and the man was detained under the Mental Health Act.
Nobody was injured in the incident.
