Wells RNLI launch to fishing boat
The vessel was in trouble.
Mayday from vessel in distress 13 miles north of Wells
Wells All Weather Lifeboat launched yesterday morning (8 October) after a fishing boat put out a distress call, 13 miles north of Wells Harbour.
The Blucher had suffered mechanical failure and was at anchor awaiting help.
The lifeboat towed the vessel safely back to the harbour, before being taken down to the Quayside, where it was safely secured.
