As festivals go Creamfields is up there with the best for dance music. It's won countless awards and each year gets bigger and bigger.

This year organisers have already revealed it will be a four-day event, building on the successful three-day event which was introduced a few years ago.

Their latest announcement surrounds the Horizon Stage, billed as the largest festival stage ever in the UK, this stage replaces the former South Stage which has previously played host to Avicii and Martin Garrix.

The Horizon Stage will include the most advanced festival production in Europe and the video below shows what ravers can expect over the August Bank Holiday weekend.

This year Avicii will appear on the Horizon Stage for his last ever UK performance, ahead of his retirement from music at the end of the summer.

The video ends with a teaser for what we can expect this week regarding a North Stage announcement.

Also revealed for the fields around Daresbury is The Vault. The Vault is a totally brand new arena which has been exclusively designed for the festival, including world class special effects and a stacked LED cube design.

This year's Creamfields looks set to be very different from previous years, but we can't wait to see what other announcements are in store.
