Don’t miss the chance to enter a team for the legendary Dragon Boat Race at Leeds Dock, which is taking place on Saturday 25 June from 10am – 5pm.
Expect a fantastic day of fun and furious paddling, with prizes to be won! Anyone can take part (children must be 12+) with fancy dress welcomed!
This event promises to be the highlight of the Waterfront Festival, which is running across the weekend on Saturday 25 & Sunday 26 June from 10am – 8pm at Leeds Dock, with a family funfair, live music performances, street food, entertainment and more to enjoy!
Details:
Cost: A dragon boat costs £200
Size of team per dragon boat: The boats can seat minimum 10 paddlers and maximum 16 paddlers. There also needs to be 1 drummer. Therefore the boats can accommodate between 11 – 17 people in total.
Number of races: We aim for there to be 3 rounds of racing for each team.
