4 further arrests in Bradford murder investigation

Four more arrests have been made in a murder investigation in Bradford.

The males, aged between 16 and 18, have been detained alongside two other men arrested at the weekend, who remain in custody

19-year-old Muhammed Mujahid Hussain died in hospital after being stabbed last week.

West Yorkshire Police released the following statement:

"Detectives investigating the death of Muhammed Mujahid Hussain have made a further four arrests."

"Four males aged, 16, 17, 17 and 18, have been arrested in connection with the incident on Duckworth Lane, Bradford, on Thursday night.

"Warrants of further detention have been obtained for two other males arrested on Saturday and they remain in custody.

"A 20 year-old previously arrested on suspicion of violent disorder has been released on conditional bail and a 17-year-old arrested on suspicion of violent disorder has been released without charge.

"Police are continuing to appeal for anyone who witnessed any part of this incident, anyone with phone or dashcam footage, or anyone with any other information that could help their investigation to come forward."
