Former pupils of murdered Leeds teacher Ann Maguire will sing at a concert in her memory tonight.

The 61-year-old mother of two was stabbed to death in her classroom at Corpus Christi Catholic College in April.

Her attacker, 16-year-old student Will Cornick, was sentenced to a minimum of 20 years in prison at Leeds Crown Court last month.

The concert will feature her favourite music performed by four generations of people that were taught by her.

The money raised will go towards the Ann Maguire Arts Educational Fund which was set up in her name. It gives grants to young people who show passion for music, dance or drama.

The event will take place at Corpus Christi Church at 7.30pm.
