Huddersfield Town are eyeing a return to the Premier League after sealing a 2-1 aggregate win in the second leg of the Championship play-off semi-final against Luton.

A solitary late strike in the 82nd minute from Jordan Rhodes' sealed the win for Carlos Corberan's side.

It was tough on Luton, who arguably looked the better side for long periods on the night, after being held to a draw at Kenilworth Road in Friday's first leg.

But Huddersfield goalkeeper Lee Nicholls made several telling saves and Rhodes' goal-poaching instincts proved the difference as the Yorkshire side booked their place in the Wembley final against Nottingham Forest or Sheffield United on May 29.

Players have the "right mentality" to win Premier League promotion- Corberan

Huddersfield boss Carlos Corberan is convinced his players have "the right mentality" to seal promotion back to the Premier League after their play-off semi-final win against Luton.

Corberan, in his second season in charge, said: "We knew that having the right mentality and the right character was going to be important if we wanted to reach Wembley.

"First of all, I must congratulate the players and I'm looking forward to the final.

"Nothing makes me feel more proud than seeing how happy they are and how much they identify with the team.

"We'll rest in the next couple of days and then we will start working towards that game and see who we are going to play."
