Motorcyclist seriously injured in Leeds crash

Police want to hear from anyone who may have seen what happened

Police are investigating a crash in Leeds where a motorcyclist suffered serious injuries.

Officers were called to Middleton Road on the 31st January, where it's thought a motorbike and taxi collided.

In a statement West Yorkshire Police said: "Officers from the Roads Policing Unit would like to speak to anyone who saw or has footage of a collision on the Middleton Road Junction with Bodmin Road, Leeds on January 31.

"The collision took place at about 6.10am after a blue motorbike, which was travelling towards Beeston, was in collision with a silver Lexus taxi which had been travelling in the opposite direction and was turning into Bodmin Road.

"The male rider of the bike suffered serious but not life threatening injury.

"Anyone who saw the collision, either vehicle beforehand, or who has footage of the collision is asked to contact Team Two at the Roads Policing Unit on 101 referencing police number 132340056475. "
