Two teenagers have charged with arson more than two years on from a huge fire at an historic mill in Keighley.

Dalton Mills partially burned down in March 2022 - and it took firefighters several days to bring under control.

The Victorian textile mill, thought to have once been the largest in Yorkshire, was used for filming on several shows, including Peaky Blinders, and the film version of Downtown Abbey.

In a statement given to Greatest Hits Radio, West Yorkshire Police said: "Police investigating a fire at Dalton Mills in Keighley in 2022 have charged two youths in connection with it.

"The two 17 year old males who can’t be named for legal reasons have been charged with arson."

They also confirmed three other teenagers arrested at the time of the fire have been released without charge.
