Love isn't just in the air, it's also on the ground in the shape of towns and villages around the world.

Starting across the pond in Canada there are a number of places all love-related particularly in east of the country where Cupids sit on the edge of Conception Bay and just a bit further along the coast are Heart's Desire, Heart's Content and Little Heart's Ease.

Further south you can find Love County, Oklahoma and Romeoville, Illinois.

In Love County the courthouse (pictured below) is particularly popular place to visit.

Back over the Atlantic in mainland Europe there's the municipality of Kissing in Bavaria, Germany.

Meanwhile closer to home in Wiltshire there's a place called Lover. While it should really be pronounced to rhyme with Dover, it was apparently a popular place to send Valentine's cards from. Unfortunately this is no longer possible as the Post Office has since closed down.
