Have you ever thought what your nearest town or city would be called if it was named after the most searched for celeb who has a connection with it? For example, Mayfair would be called Elizabeth II and Edinburgh would be called Mary Queen of Scots.

Now, wonder no more as a website called The Pudding has mapped city names replacing them by their most looked at celeb on Wikipedia, whether they were born there, lived there, or are connected to the place.

Map of the UK

The map includes everyone from music artists such as Robbie Williams (Stoke-on-Trent), to historical figures like William Shakespeare (Stratford-upon-Avon) and Mary Queen of Scots (Edinburgh).

It also includes actors such as Sean Bean (Sheffield) and Liam Neeson (Ballymena).

The map isn't just limited to the UK either, with the whole of the US plotted according to celebs and other well-known people, such as Chrissy Teigen (Delta) and Brad Pitt (Springfield).

So, while you might not be able to travel to see your family this Christmas in Winston Churchill (Bristol), or Ozzy Osbourne (Birmingham), you can have a bit of fun with this map.
