Emergency services are attending an incident on the River Ouse in York.
The river's been closed to boats near Queens Staith.
A police cordon is in place at Lendal Bridge.
Police fire and ambulance vehicles are on the scene.
In a statement, North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "We are assisting the police at a welfare related incident."
