Fight breaks out on York train

British Transport fight are investigating a fight which broke out on a York train.

The incident happened on Saturday (11th December) on a service travelling from York to Malton.

In a statement BTP said:

"Were you on board a train travelling from York to Malton last Saturday night where a fight broke out? If you were please contact BTP on 0800 40 50 40 with any information you have and ask for it to be passed to the duty Sergeant at York.

"BTP York are investigating this matter and have identified some of those involved".
