Police appeal after suspected hit-and-run in Harrogate

Police are looking for a driver after a suspected hit-and-run in Harrogate left the rider of a scooter in hospital.
Officers said a red 4x4 failed to stop after colliding with a black Lambretta scooter on Skipton Road on Saturday.
The rider of the scooter was injured and taken to hospital for treatment, while the driver of the 4x4 continued towards the Empress roundabout.
North Yorkshire Police are asking witnesses to the collision or anyone with dash camera footage that could help with their investigation.
