Man arrested after standoff with police in Foxwood in York

After a standoff with police a man has been taken to hospital in York.
A number of emergency services had been in attendance since mid-morning.
Police confirmed negotiators had ensured a safe conclusion to the incident.
Teal Drive in the Foxwood area had been closed for several hours, with the situation beginning just after 10am after a man threatened harm to himself and others and refused to come out.
The force thanked members of the public for their support and understanding.
