Urgent appeal to trace teenager

An appeal's been issued by North Yorkshire Police to try and find a 14 year old girl they describe as a "high risk missing person".

Desteny Sturgess Green was last seen at the Jet garage on Selby Road in Askern just before 7am on Saturday (5th March).

She's described as around 5'5" tall (1.65m), slim and with long straight brown hair and was wearing a grey hooded top, black trousers and Nike trainers carrying a black bag when she was last spotted.

The youngster's from Womersely near Selby and is known to have links to West and South Yorkshire and Derbyshire.
