Six people taken to hospital after A19 collision near Northallerton

Police say that a man remains in a life-threatening condition

North Yorkshire Police say that six people were taken to hospital following a collision near Northallerton yesterday (2nd April) - with one man in a life threatening condition.

Officers were called to a the crash which involved four cars at around 3.30pm on the A19 by Kirby Sigston.

The police, fire and ambulance services attended the scene.

The vehicles involved were a blue Skoda Fabia, a dark blue Skoda Octavia, a black Volkswagen Tiguan and a black coloured Volkswagen Golf.

Six people were injured and taken to hospital for treatment, including one man who suffered life-threatening injuries. He remains in hospital at this time.

Officers are appealing for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to get in touch straight away.

Anyone who saw the collision, or the vehicles involved prior to it, or has relevant dashcam footage, is asked to contact North Yorkshire Police.
