Vehicle recovered after fail-to-stop collision in Thirsk

Police are appealing for witnesses

North Yorkshire Police are appealing for witnesses and information following the incident in Thirsk.

Shortly after 7am on Sunday 5 November 2023, a blue Fiat 500 X with a private number plate collided with a parked Vauxhall Agila and failed to stop at the scene in Market Place.

It is believed the Fiat was driven in the Thirsk area prior to and after the collision, having suffered significant offside damage.

Police have subsequently recovered the vehicle believed to have been involved in the incident.

Officers are now asking for any witnesses to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
