Woman who died in Northallerton collision named

A woman who died after being hit by a lorry in Northallerton has been named.
84 year-old Pauline Thomas died on Friday.
The collision happened on Brompton Road just after 12pm.
In a statement, Pauline's family said: “We are devastated by her sudden and horrific death. We would like to thank the emergency services and members of the public who attended the scene and cared for Pauline, as well as those who supported family members, both at the scene and afterwards.”
