York Theatre Royal receives complaint over 'Yorkshire accents' in recent play

The chief executive of York Theatre Royal has revealed they received a complaint about one of their latest shows because it had 'Yorkshire accents' in it.
Tom Bird took to Twitter to share the news.
He said the person had made the complaint after watching Northern Broadsides Theatre Company's production of As You Like it last week.
The theatre goer was apparently unhappy and requested a refund because of the Yorkshire accents.
