Bryan Adams has been announced as the next artist to appear at Scarborough's Open Air Theatre.

The multi-million-selling recording artist will be on the Yorkshire Coast on Thursday 1st July 2020.

It's part of a UK tour around open air venues across the country.

He was last in Scarborough for a sell-out headline gig in 2016.

Bryan Adams joins The Beach Boys, Lionel Richie, Duran Duran, Crowded House, Westlife, Lewis Capaldi and Nile Rodgers and CHIC among next summer’s Scarborough OAT headliners.

Programmer at the venue, Peter Taylor, said: “Bryan Adams is one of the world’s best-selling artists and an international music legend – we are beyond thrilled he is returning to Scarborough Open Air Theatre next summer.

“Bryan joins an incredible line-up of headliners for 2021 – and we cannot wait for the season to start!”

Tickets will go on sale at 9am on Friday.
