Many students might not get the result they hoped for or may be feeling anxious about getting them.

Hull and East Yorkshire Mind are giving some friendly advice today.

Jack Moore from there said:

“Results day can be a difficult time anyway, especially after the last 18 months so it's really important for young people to not be too hard on themselves.

“These students should be really proud that that that they actually got that far. It's just a case of not being too hard on yourself. if you haven't done as well as you maybe expected speak to somebody you trust, maybe your teacher's family members or friends.

“If there is a young person who is struggling after getting the results, give us a call. We are available 24 hours a day seven days a week but you can message us on Facebook at Hull and East Yorkshire MIND.

“If there is any young people who maybe haven't achieved the grades that they hoped for or maybe their grades don't allow them to go in the path what they wanted to go, don't be too hard with yourself there is lots of different options out there.”
