For the third time In less than three years, the leader of Scarborough borough council faces a vote of no confidence.

A motion will be debated next Monday, which suggests there's a lack of transparency - inclusivity - and respect towards other member of the authority.

It's calling for Steve Siddons to stand down.

The motion has been proposed by Councillor Roxanne Murphy, from the Yorkshire Coast Independents Alliance and reads as follows:

"On account of the present lack of transparency, inclusivity and respect evinced amongst members, change is urgently needed to restore public faith and confidence, a sound administration and a return to balanced debate. It is our contention that this can only be achieved by a change of leadership. We move that the current leader relieves himself of the leadership."
