Scarborough, Whitby and Ryedale Mind are set to hold a series of activities for people who need help with their mental health.

It is part of an awareness week and to start with, it has organised a drop-in session for those who want someone to talk to.

It starts tomorrow (Monday 10th May) in Scarborough at the Mecca Bingo Hall on Albermarle Crescent between 1pm and 3pm.

This year, the theme for the week is ‘Nature’ and throughout the week, the charity are inviting people to come along and try out a range of wellbeing and outdoor based activities designed to get people out and about after lockdown, make new connections and try something different.

All activities will be free of charge and people do not need to be current service users of Mind to participate, however people need to pre-book a place as numbers will be limited due to Covid-19 compliance. Upon booking, you will be provided with times and locations to meet up.

To book onto an activity or find out more information, get in touch with our team on 01723 339838 or email info@swrmind.org.uk. Activity updates will be available across the week on Facebook and Twitter.
