If you bumped into Daniel Radcliffe in the street you'd get starstruck, right?

He's 'the Boy Who Lived', the one who defeated the Dark Lord and in real life one of the nicest celebs there is.

But he revealed to us he's also prone to being in awe of people he's met - and the Empire Awards is one place he remembers having a bit of a pinch yourself moment.

When we caught up with Dan at the Old Vic Theatre, where he's currently starring in Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead alongside Joshua McGuire, he reflected back on his times at the Empire Awards:

"You're sitting around, and you know, Danny Boyle's there and all these amazingly talented people, and you're like 'Oh I get to be in this room, that's very cool.'"

20-years-ago the biggest film at the awards was Trainspotting, with it picking up four gongs, including Best Newcomer for Ewen Bremner.

During promo for this year's sequel, T2 Trainspotting, Ewen told us he found winning an Empire Award 'moving'.

TheThree Empire Awards take place on Sunday 19th March, with Rogue One: A Star Wars Story leading the nominations.
