Last night saw the stars of the big screen gather in London for the prestigious Three Empire Awards.

Celebrating the best in film and entertainment the awards took place in Camden’s Roundhouse, hosted by Empire's Editor-in-chief Terri White and the magazine's News Editor Chris Hewitt.

Tom Hiddleston was the big winner on the night winning the coveted Empire Hero and Best TV Show awards for The Night Manager.

We caught up with Tom and some of the other celebrities attending the award ceremony on the red carpet and asked them what it was like to attend the event.

It was an eventful night with Sir Patrick Stewart and Sir Ian McKellen sharing a kiss on stage as Patrick accepted the Empire Legend award.
