Cheryl to make X Factor return with big money deal

Cheryl is reportedly set to return to The X Factor and is on the verge of signing a big bucks deal.
The former Girls Aloud singer, who has appeared on the show as a judge before, is said to be replacing Nicole Scherzinger.
The pop star, who has been easing herself back into work recently after welcoming baby Bear to the world with boyfriend Liam Payne, will apparently be paid £1.5 million for her return.
It is hoped her comeback will help boost the ITV talent contest’s ratings once more.
A show source told a national newspaper, "It looks like Cheryl will be back next year. Simon (Cowell) knows Nicole is likely to leave and he wants a big name, and some much-needed glamour on the panel.
"He knows he will get that with Cheryl and she would be a really popular signing and a huge hit.
"Simon has had his own problems lately but has been really keen to get the deal nailed down. He is a huge fan of hers and has been turning on the charm to ensure she comes back.
"They have had several meetings about it and Simon has had his top people on the case to make sure it’s all sorted."
The news comes after Cheryl made an appearance on the programme at Simon’s house during the Judges’ Houses rounds of the auditions.
Simon, who suffered a fall at his London home last month, hopes enlisting the help of Cheryl next year will help her continued happiness after she recently said she’d had the best six months of her life.
The source said, "He has supported her through her problems and wants her back in the fold now she is happy.
"Simon and Cheryl are both happy with the deal and they hope the fans will share their feelings. He is cock-a-hoop and thinks she will be great."
Cheryl started out as part of Girls Aloud who were created on Popstars: The Rivals in 2002.

Girls Aloud went on to achieve massive success in the UK and scored a record 20 consecutive top 10 singles in the UK Charts.
In 2013 the band announced their split after their final UK tour.

In 2017 Camilla Cabello announced she had left the band to focus on her solo caree, and in March 2018 the group revealed they were going on a hiatus.
Christina Aguilera
Christina Aguilera appeared on Star Search as a youngster back in 1990.
It wasn't until 1999 when the singer really made waves in the music industry with hits including 'Genie In The Bottle' and 'What A Girl Wants'.
Throughout the noughties Christina had some massive hits such as 'Dirrty', 'Beautiful' and 'Hurt' and later went on to star in a number of movies such as Burlesque.
The singer now has five Grammy Awards, has sold over 50 million albums worldwide and appears on The Voice as a mentor.
Jordin Sparks
Jordin Sparks became American Idol's youngest ever winner when she won over competition at the age of just 17 in 2006.
