Rewind your minds back to The X Factor in 2007 and you'll probably remember cheesy brother and sister duo Same Difference, well now 10 years later, Sean Smith has changed his image and gone solo.

Sean appeared on today's episode of Loose Women to promote his brand new single 'Magic' which is set for release on Friday, and the ladies certainly hyped up his 'new look' before he arrived in the studio.

When Sean finally arrived in the studio, viewers were given a look at his 'grown up' appearance. He's ditched his dark hair in favour of some bleached blond and has clearly been working out in the gym.

Fans were quick to express their shock at Sean's transformation...

Sean auditioned for The X Factor back in 2007 alongside his sister Sarah. Despite Simon Cowell telling them to stop pulling faces during their audition, they made it to the live finals of the show and became the marmite act of the series.

The duo eventually finished third on the singing competition and later landed a record deal with Syco.

Targeting the younger audience, Same Difference released their debut single 'We R One' in 2008, with their album following later in the year.

Despite going on to release a second and record a third album, the brother and sister duo announced Same Difference would be no more on Christmas Eve in 2014.

Speaking on Loose Women, Sean admitted they both realised the group was coming to an end and that they had to recreate themselves to succeed.

10 years on, Sean has now launched his solo career and is releasing his debut solo track 'Magic' on Friday 26th May.

The single shows the singer in a completely different light from his days in Same Difference.

Sean also told the Loose Women ladies that his sister Sarah is enjoying great success with her very own dance studio. Sarah transformed a local church into a studio and according to Sean, business is booming for her.

Sean's new single 'Magic' is out on Friday.
