Gemma Collins shocks fans with dramatic new look

As well as her appearance on hit reality show The Only Way Is Essex, Gemma Collins has become a bit of an Internet sensation over the last few months due to the hilarious memes doing the rounds on social media.

Now Gemma has given her fans something else to talk about as she's shown off a dramatic new hair colour on her socials.

Taking to Instagram to share a photo of herself rocking brunette hair, Gemma wrote, 'Loving today with @carlbembridgehair'.

Despite fans commenting on the photo saying how much they love the colour on her, Gemma quickly uploaded another photo telling fans the brunette hair was actually just a wig.

She wrote, 'Hello 😜 WIG'.

One fan wrote, 'This should be your actual hair colour @gemmacollins1 it really suits you!', wiith another adding, 'So much better than your blonde x'.

A third then wrote, 'Dark hair makes your eyes stand out more... gorgeous x love you gem 💎'.

Another added, 'This colour combo works for you, Gem, do it!!!'.

Despite the popularity from her fans, Gemma is still very much rocking her trademark blonde locks and just last night uploaded another photo of herself thanking her hairdresser for the unusual style.

Meanwhile Gemma is currently starring on the 21st series of The Only Way Is Essex and not long ago caused a bit of a stir with her best friend and co-star Bobby Norris.

Gemma yawned in front of Bobby as he told the group about his exciting new book idea, but when Gemma seemed to look disinterested, Bobby stormed off calling her rude.

In more drama for Gemma, her ex-boyfriend James 'Arg' Argent is set to return to the ITVBe show tonight for the first time in over a year.

In scenes from the show, Arg goes to visit Gemma at her shop and hopes they pair can put their differences aside. But when Arg tells her he's distanced himself, Gemma breaks down in tears.
