Superstar couple Beyoncé and JAY Z bought a huge multi-million dollar mansion in California last year, and now it has been revealed they have big plans to improve the house's security.

According to American celebrity website TMZ, the couple have had plans approved which include building a new 10-car carport, a two-car garage, including living quarters and security guard rooms. The plans apparently acquired by the celebrity website reveal the additions will each include a half bathroom and the garage will be a two storey building.

Metro.co.uk has also revealed that the new carport will be built at the back of the property to 'eliminate the risk of thieves', whilst the smaller two-car garage will be at the front.

The couple bought the mansion last year, situated in the exclusive neighbourhood of Bel Air, it cost a whopping $88 million, making it the highest sale of 2017 in Los Angeles.

The property is currently made up of six different buildings on two acres of land, including a swimming pool, spa and wellness centre, and a basketball court.

It is thought the building work will start as soon as possible as last month the superstar couple confirmed they would be going on tour together for their 'On The Run II' world tour.

The couple confirmed they would be performing four dates in the UK, the full list of dates are below.
