X Factor star Joe McElderry has shared yet more pictures to his social media account showing off his recent weight loss after some 'fat shamers' called him out for his appearance back in 2015.

Joe, who is currently playing the role of Joseph in the hit musical Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat, uploaded a selfie to Instagram leaving fans gushing over his new appearance.

Fans of the South Shields born singer were quick to comment on his new appearance. One user wrote, 'Looking more like the milk tray man with your chiseled profile, looking fab x' with another adding, 'Looking great Joe!'

The compliments didn't end there for stage star, another added, 'Wow you look so handsome!'

Joe's recent picture comes just a few weeks after he impressed fans with his recent weight loss. The 25-year-old uploaded a topless picture of himself showing off his toned torso.

Joe has been working hard on his body since he was 'fat shamed' after his appearance on Lorraine back in 2015.

After appearing on the morning chat show, Joe fell victim to 'endless and toxic' fat comments which urged him to hit the gym.

The singer has since kept fans up to date with his progress on Instagram.

Joe shot to fame back in 2009 when he overcame tough competition from runner up Olly Murs on The X Factor.

After reaching number two with his debut single 'The Climb', Joe went on to release four top 20 albums, including his debut album 'Wide Awake'.

Joe later won the second series of ITV's Popstar to Operastar in 2011 and appeared on Channel 4's The Jump in 2014.

Focusing more on his stage career, Joe is currently enjoying his stint in Andrew Lloyd Webber's famous musical Joseph and the Technicolour Dreamcoat.
