Little Mix have hit back at the people who criticised their outfits on stage at the One Love Manchester concert earlier in the month.

The group, made up of Perrie Edwards, Jade Thirlwall, Jesy Nelson and Leigh-Anne Pinnock, were slammed by people who deemed their outfits 'inappropriate' for the charity event, with some even calling the girls 'disrespectful'.

Now chatting to Metro.co.uk, the band have hit back at their critics and stated they are 'confident' in what they wear on stage.

Jade said, "We wear what we wear and we love it. We’re confident in ourselves and I think that should be praised."

Whilst Jesy told her haters to "Sod off", Leigh-Anne explained the reason they wear small clothing whilst performing on stage.

She said, "Also, it’s really hard to dance when we’re wearing lots of stuff. Do you know what I mean? It’s more airy and comfortable to move!"

The group, who found fame when they became the first group to win The X Factor back in 2011, performed at Ariana Grande's One love Manchester concert earlier in the month.

Performing their Number 1 single 'Wings', the girls told the sold-out crowd at the Emirates Old Trafford cricket ground they were 'proud' to be at the event.
