Michael Bublé and his wife Luisana Lopilato were given heartbreaking news last year when their three-year-old son Noah was diagnosed with cancer, but now the family have given a positive update on his condition.

The couple released a joint statement back in November 2016 to confirm the sad news, it read, “We are devastated by the recent cancer diagnosis of our eldest son Noah who is currently in treatment in the United States. We've always talked a lot about the importance of the family and the love we have for our children.”

“Katie and I are going to spend all our time and attention to help Noah to get better, by suspending our professional activities for now.”

“During this difficult time, we ask that you pray for him and please respect our privacy. We have a long road ahead of us and we hope that with the support of our family, friends, fans around the world and our faith in God, we can win this battle. Michael Bublé."

After months of treatment, in February it was reported that Noah was 'on the mend' when his auntie was interviewed at an airport in Los Angeles and now his mother has released further details about his recovery.

Speaking at a press conference for her new movie in Buenos Aires, Luisana said, "When things like those that happened to us occur, your take on life changes. It happened to us. Now I value life much more, the now and the today."

“Thank God, my son is well."

"I would like to thank people for their support, for the prayers they said, for their love. I want them to know that they reached us and that it helped us a lot to come through this."

"It’s difficult for me to speak about this, it’s very recent and I’m still a bit sensitive about the subject. But the love is daily, when people stop me in the street. It’s wonderful to know that you’re accompanied in life and that people love you.”

Singer Michael made the decision to pull out of hosting The BRIT Awards in February to focus on getting his son better and was later praised by his replacements Dermot O'Leary and Emma Willis.

Speaking at the time, Dermot said, "No one wants to take someone's job after such terrible circumstances for Michael. He's the loveliest man, so we all wish the best for him and his family".

As well as Noah, Michael and Luisana have one other child together, one-year-old Eilas.
