Taylor Swift's fans were shocked when she turned up at a shop in America to buy her own album!

It's become a bit of a tradition for Taylor to buy her own album, and this time it was fans in Nashville who had the chance to meet the superstar.

Taylor teased her surprise appearance on her Instagram story with her cat Olivia. In the Story she says, "We always have this tradition of going to Target to go buy the album and, umm, so we're going to do that!"

She then turns to her cat and says, "she's not... are you?"

As promised Taylor later arrived in the Target carpark in Nashville and videoed herself with her dancers excitedly walking into the shop.

The superstar was filmed walking through Target in search of 'reputation', joined by her squad of backup singers and dancers, to pick up her sixth studio album. Fans were over the moon at her appearance as she took time to meet some of them.

One fan event described the moment saying his life was now complete.

Taylor dropped her eagerly awaited comeback album 'reputation' last week and when she revealed the tracklist it included a MASSIVE collaboration with non-other than Ed Sheeran!

Taylor returned to the music scene back in August with her massive track 'Look What You Made Me Do' quickly followed by '...Ready For It?'. Both 'Look What You Made Me Do' and '...Ready For It?' reached the top five in the UK.

Earlier this month Taylor revealed what her 'reputation' secret sessions were like with a houseful of excited fans. These exclusive sessions for 500 handpicked fans were held at her houses in the UK and US.
