It's been revealed that singer Taylor Swift has sent multiple bouquets of flowers to show support for a police officer injured in Monday's Las Vegas shooting. 59 people were killed and many more injured when Stephen Paddock opened fire on country music fans attending the Route 91 Harvest Festival. He took his own life before SWAT teams entered the room at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino.

Taylor Swift had posted a message of support on Twitter that read, 'There are no words to express the helplessness and sorry my broken heart feels for the victims in Vegas and their families.'

However the singer wanted to do more than just tweet to show her support. LAPD Foothill Community Police Station posted a picture on their Instagram page showing the bouquet along with the caption, 'Talk about a class act! @taylorswift sent multiple bouquets of flowers and plants to our station, as one of our officers was shot in Las Vegas last night. This is one of the smaller arrangements. Beautiful flowers can bring a smile to anyone’s face. Much respect.'

Comments on the post praised the singer for her gesture. @darielis_pena wrote 'Amazing tay is the sweetest' and 1tswift3 commented 'That's why we love our queen'.

Many others also shared their best wishes to the injured officer. @balmain_bella wrote, 'Sending my love as a compassionate human being and as a Swiftie. We need more love and less hate. I know some people might want to give up but we still need good people in this world. More people like the officers who put their lives on the line that night and more people like @taylorswift'

Following the shooting, which was the worst mass shooting in U.S. history, the police station have posted a statement to Facebook confirming that one of their female officers had been injured in the shooting. The post read, 'Thank you to all who have called and experienced concerns of our Foothill Female Officer. She is stable and doing well. We wish everyone who remains in Las Vegas and in attendance safe returns. #unity #partnerships LAPD Operations Valley Bureau LAPD Headquarters.'
