Back in June, David and Victoria Beckham were the subject of many marriage breakdown rumours. At the time, the couple who have been married for 19 years, were forced to respond to the rumours, releasing a statement which read, 'There is no statement due or divorce. This is just fake social media news. This is all very bizarre and an embarrassing waste of time. There is no statement due, no divorce, and a lot of Chinese whispers and fake social media news.'

Now, three months later, the former member of the Spice Girls has opened up about her marriage to the former footballer saying they learned to ignore 'the nonsense' written about their relationship.

Speaking to Vogue about her marriage, Victoria said, "People have been making things up about our relationship for 20 years, so David and I are pretty used to ignoring the nonsense and just carrying on as normal.

"But these things have a wider effect on the people around us, and that's unfair."

The fashion designer went on to say, "We both realise that we are stronger together than we are as individuals. Would either of us be in the position that we are in now had we not met and been together all those years ago?"

Victoria, who has four children with David, then went on to say, "It's all about the family unit. We are much stronger the six of us, than we would be if we were individuals. We respect that family bond and that is key."

Despite split rumours, in July the couple celebrated their 19th wedding anniversary by posting a stunning photo of themselves enjoying a meal together. Victoria simply captioned the photo, '19 years!!! X I love u so much x'. sic

Since then, both Victoria and David have been active on Instagram showing a united front. Most recently the Victoria posted some cute photos from the family's holiday in Indonesia. The photos showed all four of her children and David sitting on each other's shoulders. Harper can be seen rather impressively sat on Romeo's shoulders, who in turn is balancing on David's shoulders. Next to them, Cruz is sitting on Brooklyn's shoulders.

Victoria captioned the photo, 'Love my babies 💕kisses from us all x VB' and at the time of writing it has already had over 800,000 likes and hundreds of comments including, 'Lovely 😊💦', '💦💧🦋💦💧🦋', 'Look awsome😍😊', and 'Gorgeous family 😍😍'.
