Everything seemed to be going so well between Little Mix star Jesy Nelson and The Only Way Is Essex's Chris Clark earlier in the year, that's until the pair unfollowed each other on Instagram following a shock split.

Well now it has finally been revealed by Chris' mate and fellow TOWIE star Myles Barnett that it was in fact Chris who ended the relationship and Perrie Edwards might want to cover her ears as it's a bit of a deja vu.

According to Myles, Chris ended things with Jesy over the phone! 😲

Speaking to OK! Magazine with his girlfriend Courtney Green, Myles admitted his pal could have ended things better with the 'Touch' singer. He said, "He probably didn't do it as well as he could have, but he wanted to tell her as soon as possible, which meant over the phone as she was in America."

Oh Chris! 😢

After the relationship ended, Chris received serious backlash from Jesy's fans with some believing he was 'using' Jesy's fame to his advantage.

The situation then got worse for Chris when he was filmed getting back with his ex-girlfriend Amber Dowding during an episode of TOWIE.

After the backlash, Myles has now defended his mate and said, "People are saying he used her, but that's not true."

"He was obviously interested, he thought she was stunning and spoke about her to me. He was buzzed, proper into her, but his first love was Amber."

Everything seemed to be going so well between Chris and Jesy, despite living in different countries at the time, the pair often shared loved up snaps of each other on their Instagram accounts with Chris even flying out to America to surprise Jesy.

Despite not officially being back together, TOWIE viewers witnessed Chris and Amber putting their differences aside and getting close on the last episode of the popular reality show.

Meanwhile Jesy and the rest of the Little Mix girls are preparing for their 'Summer Shout Out' tour which kicks off on May 21st. Once that is complete the girls will embark on their mammoth 'The Glory Days' tour which sees them playing dates across the world.

After huge hits including 'Shout Out To My Ex' and 'Touch', the group dropped the video for their collaboration with Machine Gun Kelly 'No More Sad Songs' last month.
