Singer and actor Will Smith has sparked rumours that he will be performing the World Cup 2018 song with his most recent post on Instagram. The 'Men In Black' singer posted a photo of himself with singer Nicky Jam saying, '@nickyjampr ✖️ @Diplo ✖️ @strefie ✖️ @WillSmith One Life to Live. Live it Up. #WorldCup', also tagging in DJ/producer Diplo and Kosovar singer, Era Istrefi.
Following the post, fans have been quick to respond with loads of emojis, one said, '😍😍🔥🔥🎂', with another commenting, '😍😍😍❤️❤️🔥🔥'. One more fan commented, '🔝🔝🔝💯👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻'.
The four artists are believed to have recorded the video for the World Cup song over last weekend, when Will Smith and Nicky Jam were spotted in Colombia with producer DJ Nelson. DJ Nelson told Vibe, a music website, that they would be performing the song for the tournament.
"Nicky Jam and Will Smith are producing the new copa de futbol, they're doing it together," DJ Nelson said, "They're making this big song and it's just so crazy."
Although Will is more recently known for his acting work, he had a number of hits in the 90s and early 2000s including 'Men in Black', 'Wild Wild West' and 'Switch'. He also recently expressed his appreciation for Nicky Jam with a video of himself dancing to Nicky's single 'X'.
Meanwhile the other artists expected to collaborate with Will and Nicky, are Diplo who is a DJ and producer, having worked with a number of high profile artists including Beyoncé and Justin Bieber. Era on the other hand is a 23-year-old Kosovar singer and songwriter.
