22 things you'll only understand if you have an unusual name
It can be quite frustrating at times
With the news that Cheryl and Liam Payne have given their little boy an unusual name, we thought we'd take a look at things that little Bear might experience when he grows up.
If you have an unusual name can you relate to any of these 22 things?
1) When people ask for your name you spell it without prompting because you know they'll ask anyway.
2) If you have spaces or capital letters in unusual places you reel them off like they're part of your name. That's LeeAnn, capital-L-double-e-capital-A-(same word!)-double-n.
3) When you introduce yourself people say 'that's an unusual name, I bet you get people saying that a lot.'
4) You're envious of people who just say their name without any added explanation.
5) You have to say your name so many times when you introduce yourself you begin to question whether you're pronouncing it correctly.
6) You have an alternative name for your morning coffee. Coffee for John Doe!
7) You think up interesting ways to spell your name over the phone. P is for Pokemon... A is for Adventure...
8) People always ask why your parents gave you that name.
9) It's a great day when someone pronounces your name correctly. Time to celebrate!
10) When you were at school your name would end up being rhymed with an inanimate object. It's Riccardo Avocado.
11) Teachers would always pick on you because they remembered your name.
12) Or they always picked on you because they 'mis-remembered' your name.
13) As a consequence you answer to anything that sounds vaguely like your name.

22) If you have an unusual last name you've probably become so attached to it, even if you get married you might not want to change it. You've already suffered with it for most of your life by now!
