Earlier this week heat radio's very own reporter Lucy Ford, met up with actress Reese Witherspoon to interview her about her new film Wrinkle In Time. However, unbeknown to Reese, the character she played in the 2001 film Legally Blonde was the subject of Lucy's university dissertation four years ago. And Lucy took the opportunity to hand her the 15,000-word dissertation.

Titled Dumb Blonde Ambition: Legally Blonde, Postfeminism and the Reimagination of the 'Strong Female Character', Lucy described the dissertation as a "15,000 word love letter" to Legally Blonde. Since posting her photo on Tuesday (13th March) Lucy's tweet has had 28K likes and nearly 3,000 comments.

Starting the interview with Reese and her co-stars Oprah Winfrey and Mindy Kaling, Lucy said, "Reese, I actually wrote 15,000 words on you once".

The actress looked slightly confused and replied, "Really?!"

Lucy went on to explain how she had done her university dissertation on strong female characters, before handing over a copy of her work to the film star.

The Legally Blonde actress went on to say, "Ahh, that really touches my heart!"

At the end of the interview Reese had one question for Lucy.

20. The Lost City Of Z

2013's The Immigrant is sadly still waiting for a UK release, so praise be to the cinematic gods that James Gray's The Lost City Of Z arrived without delay. Based on the true-life tale of British explorer Percy Fawcett (Charlie Hunnam), this dense but always gripping biopic is part political drama, part family drama and part adventure.
On discovering the remnants of an indigenous society, Fawcett spent his life trying to prove his Amazonian finds until his unexplained disappearance in 1925. Containing one of the most beautiful scenes of the year, this undseen gem deserves, nay, demands your attention.
